I bumped into him in the café during my second semester. At that time, we were ordering some drinks. I ordered “Milo ice” while he ordered “Ice tea”. A funny thing happened when I suddenly got my “Milo ice” earlier even though he was the one who made the order first. I hesitated before taking it because I felt guilty towards him… he should have his drink before me I “Well, I understand..ladies first,” suddenly he claimed.

I was shocked and relieved at the same time. Well, I would say that he looked rather handsome and gentleman with that kind of approach although I did not know him. Nevermind…guys actually should pay some respect to the ladies..

Two days later, I heard a rumour from one of my classmate telling that there was a boy who wanted to be friend with me. My classmate said that he got to know me ever since the first semester but I just did not notice him. Besides, he loves my style and interested to know more about me. He sent me a regard as a “friendship greeting”. At first, I just ignored that because I do not prefer gossip. I have a thought that guys love to make fun of girls because they know that girls will get excited and they would use this chance to make full use of them – I mean, maybe some of them but of course not all guys are like that. When this “friendship greeting” kept approaching me day by day, I became puzzled and eagerly wanted to know this boy. Who is he? How did he know me?

This gossip was spread quickly in my class. I was blushing at that moment. Somebody used to tell me that he almost got “crazy” thinking of me, cannot sleep well, cannot eat well..and bla bla bla.. because of the reason – I have ignored him. Nonsense!! How could I believe those rumours because I do not even know him!! I never meet him before!!

Fortunately, one day, my close friend trying to introduce him to me secretly by watching from distance. Gosh! Isn’t he the “ice tea" guy!!

Ok..so “the ice tea guy” already know me before….

Seo Hyo-rim (The World They Live In) and SS501 member Kim Kyu-jong have been cast to act together in something that has me curious — a “web toon drama” (a drama that is based on a manhwa) that mixes animation with live action.

The fantasy series is called SETI [세티], which stands for Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence, and is the latest work of writer Yoon Tae-ho, who is famous for his manhwa Ikki [이끼]. Seo Hyo-rim and Kim Kyu-jong play a couple who are a part of an alien-watch club, and the production will enter filming this week.
The series has a total of 16 episodes...........

The series is comprised of short segments a little over a minute long that feature Seo Hyo-rim (Job Well Done) and SS501 member Kim Kyu-jong. SETI mixes live action with a “manhwa world,” which is achieved by mixing live photography with enhanced illustrations in the background. In the first three days of its release, the first installment drew in more than 600,000 views, with word of mouth reportedly traveling fast.

Each “episode” is really more like a skit — think of a long commercial more than traditional episode — and takes a cute tone. The two characters are a young couple who are part of a club that searches the skies for signs of alien life.

It’s a drama CF for Canon and all the shots are recorded using the Canon EOS 500D. There will be 16 more episodes of SETI, each episode is fully animated except for one live action scene which will feature Kim Kyu Jong. DSP Entertainment planned to involve Kyu Jong in more acting roles and this looks like an early step for him into that field.

I’ve kept up with SHINee from the start of their debut and I think in a lot of ways, they’re the “experimental” group for SM. SM tries out a lot of new sounds with SHINee’s music, because while they’re popular, they’re still not as well-established enough that they will be expected to put out a chart topper every time they release something. So with that leeway, there’s more room for experimentation, and we can definitely see that from some of the music.

What I like about this mini-album and something I’m starting to notice about SHINee’s music is that in general, their music is pretty low-key. Even the uptempo songs have a pretty soft rhythm to them. And whoever makes their music likes to revive 80s’ tempos, beats, and general cheesiness.

“2009, Year of Us” has a nice mix of fast-paced songs and soft ballads. I like SHINee’s ballads because I don’t like songs that sound like the singers are ripping out their hearts with emotion. It drives me crazy and I have no patience for it, which is why SHINee’s music suits me. The softer sounding songs are mixed in with mid to uptempo beats and prevents it from being boring.
